Who we are

Founded in 1994, CC Board Center has grown from a single surf shop into a well-established reference in Portuguese board sports. Today, we operate three surf shops in Alentejo, one surf/snow shop in Lisbon, and a surf school in Vila Nova de Milfontes with over 10 years of experience. We've been hosting snowtrips for many years and have travelled around the world in search of adventure and perfect waves. With all the knowledge gathered on these trips, the surfschool and shop, the next step was to host in our favorite place and where we can call home. Because even having been to so many places, Vila Nova de Milfontes continues to hold a especial place in our hearts and all we want is for you to fall in love with it has much as we did.

Bruno is the creator of CCBoard Center and the driving force behind it. With his natural charm and charisma, he brings together years of experience from surf and snow shops, surf schools, organized snow and surf trips, and countless personal adventures around the world. Passionate about creating meaningful connections, Bruno focuses on making every guest feel at home while ensuring each stay is filled with great vibes, quality experiences, and unforgettable moments both in and out of the water.

Bruno Sebastião

Founder / Tech

Miguel is one of the founders, combining a strong tech background with a passion for surfing and travel. With over 25 years of surfing experience, he has taught surf in Portugal, helped launch a surf camp in Florianópolis, Brazil, and surfed waves around the world — from mainland Portugal and the Açores to Spain, France, Brazil, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Philipines and Indonesia. He has also trained at two Aprimore Surf Camps with world-renowned World Tour coach Leandro Dora.

He brings this experience to the camp by focusing on the technical and operational side, helping everything run smoothly while sharing his love for surf and adventure.

Miguel Lima

Founder / Yoga Instructor

Mário is one of the founders of the surf camp and the heart behind our yoga program. A certified RYT-500+ yoga teacher, his journey began in law before surf and yoga completely changed his course, leading him toward a more mindful, ocean-centered life. With a calm presence and deep knowledge, Mário brings balance, focus, and intention to every session, helping guests reconnect with their bodies while complementing their surf experience on and off the mat.

Mário Mathiotte

Head Coach

Manuel is the man on the ground, making sure all classes and activities run smoothly day to day. He’s been surfing his entire life and combines his passion for the ocean with a Bachelor’s degree in Management and a certified surf instructor background. When he’s not guiding guests in the water, you’ll find him competing on the national circuit in Liga MEO — bringing both professionalism and high-level surf experience to the camp.

We chose Vila Nova de Milfontes for a number of reasons — home to two of our surf shops and our surf school, and a place we truly love and know inside out. This peaceful coastal town perfectly reflects our values of calmness, connection, and authenticity. Away from crowded surf destinations, Milfontes offers a quiet, local atmosphere that allows us to create small groups, meaningful experiences, and a genuine community feeling — the perfect setting to slow down, surf, and connect with nature and each other.
